Pumpkin Patch Your farm adventure will include a tractor-pulled hayride down to our HUGE pumpkin patch! Each student will have a blast picking out their very own pumpkin to take home with them. Teachers and parents will enjoy our large selection of decorative pumpkins and gourds available to purchase. Don't forget the camera, this is one of many great photo oppurtunities!
Corn Maze Can't see over! Can't see under! You'll have to use the clues to find your way out. It is a safe, fun, and unique adventure that is sure to please!
Our maze has a different theme each year. For 2011, in support of our local basketball team, we have chosen a "Memphis Grizzlies" theme. The Grizzlies team mascot is cut out of 6 acres of corn and is surrounded by a maze that is full twists, turns, and dead ends. There will be "Grizzly" trivia questions along the way. If you can answer some of these questions right, they will help you navigate your way through. These will include questions about grizzly bears and basketball. How much do you and your class know about grizzly bears? Better study up! You are likely to get lost, but we're sure you can find your way out!
Mr. Ray's Horse Lesson What a special treat! Ray Gilmer has trained nearly 50 world champion horses over is 40 year professional career. He is a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Hall of Fame, and loves to share his knowledge of this wonderful animal with young people. This will include a live demonstration with a horse and a lesson on all things equine. History, anatomy, advances in veterinary medicine, etc. Mr. Ray will field questions from students and teachers following the lesson. This is always a favorite for students and teachers!
The Cotton Patch **New for 2011** The cotton patch is the latest addition to our Fall Field trip program. This will include a hands-on agricultural lesson about cotton. The students will get the opportunity to touch and feel cotton still on the stalk and learn everything from how it is grown to what this crop means to our economy.
Farm Facts Scavenger Hunt *New for 2011* We are introducing a new game to this years field trip groups. There will be 24 "Farm Facts" signs hanging in random places around the farm. These are fun facts that everyone should know about farms and what they produce. Teachers will be given a worksheet that has questions pertaining to the facts on the signs. The teachers and students will have to be on the look out around every corner to find all the answers. All classes that correctly complete the worksheet will recieve a prize!
Petting Zoo Your trip to the farm wouldn't be complete without a visit to our petting zoo! It is filled with lots of fun, furry and feathery friends. You will have the oppurtunity to pet and feed some of the animals if you choose. There are educational signs about all of our animals in the zoo so that you can learn about each one.
Free Time Activities Falcon Ridge Express Take a ride on the Falcon Ridge Express trackless train!
Hay Fort, Corn Box, and Playground The students will enjoy cutting it loose on the playground, jumping in the corn box, and climbing on the hay fort. You teachers may enjoy a picnic table under a shade tree while they are playing!

Options Farm Fresh Lunch- $4 This includes a lunch with the option of hotdog or turkey sandwich with chips, drink, and a "farm fresh" cookie. *Orders must be placed one week in advance.
Pony Rides-$2 per ride *For the safety of our ponies, there is a 100lb. weight limit on all riders. *Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like pony rides.
Petting Zoo Feed- ¢25 Children can bring quarters to buy feed for the petting zoo animals.
