Multi-world champion rider and trainer, Ray Gilmer, has been teaching people of all ages to ride for over 30 years. Some students have been with him for nearly as long. Riding is something that you never get through learning. Each horse, situation, and environment presents a unique set of challenges. Ray's son Bart and daughter in law Becky, both of whom have their own world championships, will tailor fit your lesson for your needs. Whether you have no riding experience at all or you are a seasoned veteran we have a curriculum for everyone.
All of our lessons are given on the smooth-gaited and reliable Tennessee Walking Horse. This horse is world renowned for it's calm demeanor, smooth ride, versatility, and it's effort to please. We believe it is the best breed in the world! The old saying "Ride one today, buy one tomorrow" is attributed to its universal like ability.
Lessons are for ages 6 years & up
Private Lessons are $35 per lesson and last 30 to 45 minutes
